Samoa Beach Cleanup on Saturday!

Help Cleanup the Beach!
10 AM Saturday, February 11 at Samoa beach
We are excited to host Februarys Surfrider cleanup at Samoa beach.  Volunteers will meet at the first Samoa beach parking lot at 10am to sign in and get geared up to pick up trash.  We provide all of the supplies, although when we have large turnouts we find ourselves short of supplies, so if you have any re-useable gloves, re-useable bags, 5 gallon buckets or pickers please bring them!  If you have any questions or want to let us know your coming, please email Casey at stonelagoon@gmail.com
See you there!

  1. I am a Trail Steward here in Humboldt County and live at Moonstone Beach. I am organizing an ivy pull at Moonstone for March 3, from 9 to 11:30. I would really appreciate the help of a few surfriders. The ivy is strangling the native willows and silktassel and now covering rocks. I have two Coast Guard climbers who will climb the rocks, but the beach needs strong pullers also. I will have bagels and drinks. Wear long sleeves and gloves and bring cutters if you have them.
