  1. I am enclosing a link to the photos I managed to take at Keith’s Memorial Paddle-Out on Sunday, October 31, 2010.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and made this such a memorable send off for a good friend. Rest in peace Keith and Christopher.

  2. To all of Keith’s surfer and pilot friends,

My parents Bob and Anne, brother Steven and I–along with Keith’s nieces and nephews–were so very touched by the extraordinary way you honored Keith’s boundless spirit. Thank you all for this very special tribute. It truly warmed our hearts.

    Warm regards, Robin Newcomer

  3. Losing someone is always painful at first but as we learn to accept that they’re already in good hands we will feel better. Your tribute was a good way of honoring Keith. May his soul rest in total peace.

  4. Keith had a special bond with the world around him, one that I still envy. He also shared this bond with his son. We will never be able to understand why two beautiful souls were taken from us that day, and I think that we could search and question, but we are not meant to understand it. What I do understand, is that one of the most amazing men, and one of the most amazing men to be, were both taken from us prematurely. Something tells me that Keith of all people would have the answer though. He might not accept that his son was robbed of the opportunity to experience this world, but he would understand that what is, is. He will never be forgotten, duplicated, or replicated. He will always be me hero, though, for what he did for me, my family and so many people throughout the years. P.S. Keith, I wish I knew what you meant when you said you had turned over a new leaf…
